Ellen DeGeneres frequently surprises the visitors she has on her program. It’s not frequently the surprise is as heartfelt as this one.

On Tuesday, Jimmy Kimmel appeared on The Ellen Show to talk about hosting the upcoming Oscars.

At one point the topic relied on his child, Billy, who was born with a hereditary heart problem he’s formerly needed to go through surgical treatment for. Kimmel wished to thank DeGeneres for assisting to raise $1 million for Children’s Hospital LA in Billy’s honour.

Turns out that wasn’t all she ‘d done.

“We called our good friends at Children’s Hospital LA, consisting of Billy’s cosmetic surgeon, and we have actually called among the spaces of the heart institute flooring in honour of Billy,” DeGeneres informs Kimmel in the clip above.

Kimmel’s psychological response states everything.

DeGeneres later on tweeted to motivate more individuals to contribute.

And Kimmel and Billy thanked her when again.
