How to use Avoca warts and verruca treatment
- Before applying silver nitrate to the skin, you will first need to dissolve it in a small amount of water. Only one drop is required. Put one drop in a non-absorbent container.
- Swirl the tip of the caustic pencil in this drop for roughly 20 seconds. This will allow the active ingredient to dissolve in the water. Keep this water away from any absorbent materials, as it may cause damage or discolouration.
- Once the tip is wet, touch it very gently to your wart or verruca. Take care as the tip will break if you apply too much pressure.
- Once the area is dry, some tissue will fall away on its own. Use the emery board after 24 hours to remove the surface layer of the treated area.
This process can be repeated until the wart or verruca has been removed.
