Salicylic Acid Sulphur Ointment 5%, 30g

Salicylic Acid Sulphur Ointment 5% is an excellent choice for treating hyperkeratotic conditions such as corns, warts, psoriasis, chronic dermatitis and keratosis pilaris. It can also be used to fade dark spots, pigmentation and sun damage by peeling the superficial layers of facial skin.

This ointment contains Salicylic Acid which belongs to the group of medicines called keratolytic agents. It works by break down the bonds that hold the dead skin cells together, thereby softening and loosening them. This process helps to shed the dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, revealing the newer and healthier skin beneath.

Salicylic acid is used to help clear and prevent pimples and skin blemishes in people who have acne.
